Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Boston, MA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Boston, Massachusetts. The unit serves adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients. Public transportation is available nearby.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Track cardiac rhythms and report changes promptly
• Coordinate care with providers and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions and responses in EMR
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years related work experience
• Prior travel experience
• EMR experience
• Basic computer and web-based application navigation skills

• Teaching hospital experience
• Specialty area expertise
