Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside nursing care in a hospital medical-surgical telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 18 beds, typical ratios of 6:1, and uses Cerner PowerChart. It serves adult medical-surgical telemetry patients in a Magnet-designated Level II trauma center.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Provide medical-surgical nursing care for adult patients
• Assist with peripheral IV starts and dressing changes
• Support wound care and other routine unit therapies
• Document assessments and treatments in Cerner PowerChart

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry nursing experience
