Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care for adult patients on a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 34-bed unit uses Cerner and typically staffs 1:4-6 on days.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes in patient condition
• Assess adult medical-surgical patients and escalate acuity changes promptly
• Administer IV fluids, IV antibiotics, and enteral feedings
• Support PEG feedings and tube feed management
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, providers, and rapid response team
• Document nursing care in the electronic record

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation
• Adult medical-surgical nursing skills
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication

• ACLS certification
