Travel Med Surg RN in Thomasville, GA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics on a nephrology unit in Thomasville, Georgia for a 13-week contract. The unit serves hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients and uses Cerner charting.

• Assess adults and geriatrics with renal and medical-surgical needs
• Start and maintain IV access
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Monitor for changes in cardiac rhythm and clinical status
• Coordinate care with dialysis and support services
• Document care and patient response in Cerner

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• One year recent medical surgical experience
• IV start and maintenance skills

• ACLS certification
• Telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Wound care and surgical drains
