Travel Med Surg RN in Augusta, GA

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for adult med-surg patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Augusta, Georgia. The 40-bed unit uses Meditech and has nurse, PCT, and unit clerk support. Augusta offers riverfront attractions and a lively downtown.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Perform EKGs, glucose checks, and venipuncture
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with nurses, PCTs, and clerks
• Report changes in condition promptly

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 1+ year of hospital experience
• Medical-surgical bedside nursing skills
