Travel Med Surg RN in Augusta, GA

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for adult medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Augusta, Georgia. The unit has 40 beds, uses Meditech charting, and typically runs a 1:7 nurse ratio.

• Assess adult med-surg patients and update care plans
• Monitor vital signs and report clinical changes
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Perform EKGs, glucose checks and venipuncture
• Document care in Meditech and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate with nurses, techs and providers for safe care

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1+ years of hospital medical-surgical experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Strong assessment, communication and documentation skills
