Travel Med Surg RN in Augusta, GA

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adult med-surg and orthopedic patients on a 40-bed unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Augusta, Georgia. The unit uses Meditech charting and usually staffs 1:7 ratios.

• Assess adult medical-surgical patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and support routine treatments
• Monitor vital signs, labs, and patient responses
• Perform EKGs, blood glucose checks, and venipuncture
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document care accurately in Meditech

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1+ years of hospital experience
• Medical-surgical and orthopedic nursing skills
