Travel Med Surg RN in Pagosa Springs, CO

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide observation and inpatient care in a critical access hospital in Pagosa Springs, Colorado on a 13-week contract. Cerner charting is required, and the role supports assessment, documentation, patient education, and coordination of care for med-surg patients.

• Perform patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, and blood products
• Monitor for changes in condition and report abnormal findings
• Document care, assessments, and patient education in Cerner
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge care
• Collaborate with providers and nursing staff to support continuity of care

• Current Colorado or Compact Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience
• Previous traveler experience
• Cerner electronic health record experience
