Travel Med Surg RN in Englewood, CO

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Englewood, Colorado. The 18- to 20-bed unit cares for post-op burn and flap patients, uses Meditech, and works with 6:1 ratios with LPN support.

• Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients, including post-op burn and flap cases
• Perform wound and dressing care
• Assist with wound vacs, PCA, Hoyer lifts, and air taps
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs
• Document care in Meditech and support daily unit flow

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of hospital medical-surgical experience
• BLS
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Burn care experience
• Wound care experience
• Ostomy care experience
• ACLS
