Travel Med Surg RN in New Braunfels, TX

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide adult inpatient care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in New Braunfels, Texas. The unit serves medical and surgical patients, including joint replacements, general abdominal surgeries, and spinal surgery.

All patients are adults, and the role supports routine and complex care across a typical med surg setting.

• Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess patient condition and respond to changing clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor effects
• Document history, symptoms, care, and patient response
• Educate patients and families on care needs and recovery
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team for assigned patients

• Registered Nurse license in Texas or compact state license
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty
