Travel Med Surg RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct care for adult patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The 32-bed unit typically manages 1:5 or 1:6 ratios and uses Meditech charting. The role uses IV pumps and vital sign monitors in a collaborative medical-surgical setting.

• Monitor adult medical-surgical patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and coordinate daily nursing care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in Meditech
• Support hourly rounding and patient safety practices
• Assist with IV therapy, vital signs, and routine unit procedures
• Collaborate with charge nurse, nursing assistants, and unit clerk to maintain patient flow

• Active Registered Nurse license in Texas
• BLS certification
• Meditech charting experience

• Hourly rounding experience
