Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The 33-bed unit uses Meditech and typically staffs 5:1 with charge nurses, techs, and a secretary. First-time travelers have had good experiences there.

• Provide routine medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients
• Assess, monitor, and report changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments per care plans
• Document care in Meditech with accurate charting
• Coordinate with the charge nurse, techs, and secretary to support unit flow
• Support patient education and white board updates

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• Basic medical-surgical nursing knowledge
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program
