Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel RN - Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a hospital med-surg unit in Nashville, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The unit has 25 beds, uses Meditech, and supports remote telemetry and wound care equipment. Patient ratios are 5-6:1 by day and 6:1 by night.

• Assess medical-surgical patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changing conditions
• Place IV lines and Foley catheters as needed
• Use wound vac and mobility-assist equipment safely
• Document care in Meditech
• Coordinate with unit support staff and communicate status changes

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Strong assessment skills
• Experience with IV pumps and medication dispensing cabinets

• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention certification
