Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a 36-bed unit in Nashville, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and cares for post-op patients with wounds, tracheostomies, ostomies, drains, chest tubes, strokes, and seizures.

• Assess medical-surgical patients and plan care
• Provide wound, tracheostomy, ostomy, drain, and chest tube care
• Monitor post-op patients and support heparin infusions
• Assist with PCA pumps, dialysis needs, and safety checks
• Document care and communicate changes to the team

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Wound, tracheostomy, ostomy, drain, and chest tube care
