Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical/Neuro Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a neuro med/surg unit in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit has 20 beds, 6:1 ratios, and Meditech charting, with telemetry, pulse oximetry, and feeding support equipment. Stroke, trauma, and chest pain center designations shape the patient mix.

• Provide direct bedside care to medical-surgical and neuro patients
• Monitor telemetry, oxygenation, and patient status
• Start IV lines and assist with wound care
• Manage surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Document care and report changes promptly
• Support bedside handoff and family education

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• IV access, wound care, and drain management skills
• Prioritization, multitasking, and bedside communication skills
