Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will care for post-op surgical patients in a hospital unit in Nashville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit has 36 beds, 1:5 ratios and uses Meditech.

• Provide care for post-op surgical patients
• Monitor surgical sites and manage wound care
• Assist with drains, wound vacs and dressing changes
• Support Foley care, ostomy maintenance and NG suction
• Administer TPN, blood products and central line care
• Coordinate bedside handoff and communicate patient needs

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Acute care and med-surg nursing skills
• Time management and teamwork skills

• Background in vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery or colorectal care
