Travel Med Surg RN in Janesville, WI

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide patient care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Janesville, Wisconsin. The role supports medical, surgical/pediatric, ortho/neuro, and sub-acute patients in a trauma center.

• Assess patients and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards and state law
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Educate patients and families on care needs and instructions
• Participate in quality improvement and shared governance activities
• Escalate safety concerns and changes in condition promptly

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• BLS/CPR certification
• NIHSS certification
• 2 years of nursing experience
