Travel Med Surg RN in Idaho Falls, ID

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide bedside nursing care in a hospital med surg unit on a 13-week contract in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The unit has 39 beds, uses Meditech, and cares for patients at 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.

• Assess and monitor med surg patients for changes in condition
• Administer medications and maintain safe medication scanning practices
• Coordinate care with physicians and support staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
• Manage IV therapy and infusion equipment as ordered
• Assist with patient education, mobility, and discharge preparation

• Active Idaho Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Safe medication administration and scanning practices
