Travel Med Surg RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct care on a medical-surgical hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The unit has 30 beds, typical 1:6 ratios, and uses Meditech for charting.

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal conditions
• Manage telemetry, central venous access, indwelling catheters, and IV therapies
• Administer medications and heparin infusions
• Collaborate with coordinators, case management, and unit support staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient education in Meditech
• Support safe mobility with walkers and other assistive devices

• Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Experience with telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin infusions
