Travel Med Surg RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic and spine patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The unit has 26 beds, a 1:6 ratio, and uses Meditech for charting.

• Monitor orthopedic and spine postoperative patients closely
• Administer medications, treatments, and routine nursing care
• Assess pain, mobility, and recovery progress
• Support discharge teaching and care planning
• Assist with knee, hip, and spine recoveries
• Collaborate with nursing support staff and providers
• Document care accurately in the unit charting system

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Strong orthopedic nursing background
• Acute care medical-surgical nursing skills
