Travel Med Surg RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for medical-surgical and orthopedic patients in an acute care hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on a 13-week contract. It is a new 12-bed unit using Meditech, with a typical 5-6:1 ratio and 1 PCT.

• Assess patient status and respond to changes
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Monitor medical-surgical and orthopedic recovery needs
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team
• Educate patients and families on care plans

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Med-surg and orthopedic nursing skills
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
