Travel Med Surg RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel RN - Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide patient care on a med-surg unit in Chattanooga, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The 12-bed unit uses Meditech and typically staffs 1 PCT with ratios of 5:1 to 6:1.

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support routine med-surg treatments
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the charting system
• Provide compassionate care for orthopedic and general medical patients
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning

• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• Med-surg nursing experience
• Team-oriented and compassionate bedside approach
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
