Travel Med Surg RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The 30-bed unit uses editech and typically staffs 1:6 ratios with tech support and charge coverage.

• Provide direct care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Perform wound care and support wound vac management
• Start IVs and assist with lab draws
• Place NGTs and manage suction and feeding support
• Document care in editech and escalate concerns as needed

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• IV start, wound care, and NGT placement skills
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
