Travel Med Surg RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide post-operative nursing care for orthopedic and spine patients in a hospital unit in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for a 13-week contract. The 26-bed unit uses Meditech charting and maintains a 6:1 patient ratio.

• Provide nursing care for patients recovering from knee, hip, and multi-level spine procedures
• Monitor patient status, pain, mobility, and recovery progress
• Administer medications and support treatment plans as ordered
• Document care and clinical changes in Meditech
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and the navigator
• Support safe use of walkers, SCDs, and CPM equipment
• Educate patients on recovery, mobility, and discharge readiness

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Medical-surgical nursing skills
