Travel Med Surg RN in Caldwell, ID

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a medical surgical unit for a 12-week contract in Caldwell, Idaho. The unit has 27 beds, a 6:1 ratio, and uses Meditech for charting. It serves stroke, trauma, bariatric, orthopedic spine, urology, joint surgery, CHF, COPD, bowel obstruction, AKI, ARF, and withdrawal patients.

• Assess and monitor medical surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Coordinate care with the nursing team
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Document care in Meditech
• Assist with recovery needs for stroke, trauma, and surgical patients

• Active Idaho Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Medical surgical nursing experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment and documentation skills

• Orthopedic spine experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Charge nurse experience
