Travel Med Surg RN in Atlanta, GA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient nursing care on an acute gi medicine unit in an acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Atlanta, Georgia. The unit serves adult gastrointestinal medicine patients in a medical-surgical setting.

• Assess patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Monitor vital signs, intake and output, pain, and overall status
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Prepare patients for diagnostics, treatment, and discharge teaching
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience
• AHA BLS certification
• NIH Certification

• AHA ACLS certification
