Travel Med Surg RN in Arlington, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will care for neurological and medical-surgical patients in a hospital unit in Arlington, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and follows team nursing, with stroke education on the unit.

• Monitor neurological and medical-surgical patients
• Assist with EEGs, EKGs, and bladder scanning
• Document assessments and care in Meditech
• Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, and the health care team
• Provide stroke education to patients and families
• Support safe bedside care and respond to changes in condition

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Stroke experience
• More than 3 years of management experience
