Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will care for postpartum mothers and newborns in a hospital mother baby unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 34 private couplet rooms, uses Cerner, and provides care for 1:3-4 couplets in a Magnet-designated hospital.

• Provide couplet care for mothers and newborns after delivery
• Monitor postpartum recovery and newborn transition
• Support patients receiving magnesium sulfate after delivery
• Assist with newborn procedures, including circumcisions
• Complete patient education and discharge teaching
• Use safe medication practices and routine newborn assessments

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Mother Baby experience
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Travel experience
• Postpartum magnesium sulfate care
• STABLE certification
