Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will care for postpartum mother-baby couplets in a hospital unit in West Hollywood, California on a 13-week contract. The unit averages 45 patients daily and uses Epic.

• Assess postpartum mothers and newborns for recovery, bleeding, pain, and stability
• Monitor couplet status and report changes in maternal or neonatal condition
• Support breastfeeding, pumping, infant identification, and parent teaching
• Perform newborn screening, bilirubin draws, CCHD screening, and thermoregulation care
• Assist with circumcision care, site checks, and parent instruction
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and ordered treatments
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with support services

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 1 year of postpartum Registered Nurse experience in a hospital setting
• Epic charting experience

• Level 1 nursery experience
• Post-epidural management
• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
