Travel Mammography Tech in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Mammography Technologist will perform mammography exams in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, supports radiology, and handles about 20 visits per day in a 2-room setting. First-time travelers with relevant experience are welcome.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Assist with 3-D mammography and digital imaging workflows
• Support breast biopsy and needle localization procedures
• Follow radiation safety and universal precautions
• Prepare patients and maintain comfort during exams
• Coordinate with radiology staff and document studies

• California state license
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of mammography experience
• Experience with screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Experience with digital and 3-D mammography

• ARRT M certification
• Fine needle aspiration and stereotactic biopsy experience
• Mammography charting system experience
