Travel Mammography Tech in Pittsfield, MA

A Travel Mammography Technologist will perform imaging procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role supports x-ray and mammography needs, uses PACS, HIS, and RIS, and calls for strong patient care skills. Independent judgment, infection control, and body substance isolation are important in this imaging unit.

• Perform x-ray and mammography imaging procedures
• Apply independent judgment to support diagnosis
• Operate and troubleshoot CR and DR equipment
• Use PACS, HIS, and RIS systems
• Follow infection control and body substance isolation practices
• Maintain patient confidentiality and assigned competencies

• ARRT certification
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Massachusetts radiologic technologist license
• Current continuing education in radiology and mammography
• PACS, HIS, and RIS system proficiency
