Travel Mammography Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel Mammography Technologist will support breast imaging in a short-term acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and includes five rooms. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Assist with breast biopsies and localizations
• Operate Hologic and Trident imaging equipment
• Support digital quality assurance and radiation safety
• Prepare patients and maintain isolation and universal precautions
• Document exams and coordinate with the radiology team

• ARRT R certification
• Mammography-ARRT certification
• Oregon radiologic technologist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of mammography experience
• Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX experience

• 3-D mammography experience
• Fine needle aspiration experience
• Stereotactic biopsy and needle localization experience
• Epic charting system experience
