Travel Mammography Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel Mammography Technologist will perform mammography imaging in an acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in 5 rooms with screening, diagnostic, and general imaging. The hospital is a teaching hospital and uses Epic charting.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography
• Obtain quality digital, 2D, and 3-D images
• Support add views and outpatient breast imaging
• Use Epic charting to document care
• Maintain patient comfort and safe workflow
• Collaborate with radiologists for image review

• ARRT M and ARRT R certification
• Oregon Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of mammography experience
• Epic charting experience
• Digital, screening, diagnostic, and 3-D mammography experience

• Hologic system experience
• Fine needle aspiration
• Needle localizations
• Stereotactic biopsy
