Travel Mammography Tech in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Mammography Technologist will perform breast imaging in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in 2 rooms with about 20 visits per day and supports radiology. First-time travelers with relevant experience are welcome.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Assist with breast biopsy and localization procedures
• Support fine needle aspiration and stereotactic imaging
• Prepare patients and position them for exams
• Maintain radiation safety and universal precautions
• Document studies and coordinate with radiology staff

• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• California state license
• 1 year of mammography experience
• Digital, screening, and diagnostic mammography skills
• Radiation safety and universal precautions knowledge

• ARRT M certification
• Fine needle aspiration, needle localization, and stereotactic biopsy experience
• Charting system experience
