Travel Mammography Tech in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Mammography Tech will provide mammography care in an acute care hospital outpatient unit on a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit supports adults and geriatrics, has 2 rooms, and averages 20 visits per day. First-time travelers with relevant experience are welcome.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Assist with 3D mammography and related breast imaging workflows
• Position patients for clear images and patient comfort
• Follow radiation safety and universal precautions
• Prepare patients and complete exams in the outpatient setting
• Work with radiology support to manage daily volume

• ARRT Radiography certification
• Current BLS certification
• Active California license
• 1 year of mammography experience
• Digital, screening, diagnostic, and 3D mammography skills
• Radiation safety and universal precautions knowledge

• ARRT Mammography certification
• Fine needle aspiration, needle localization, and stereotactic biopsy experience
• Charting system experience
