Travel Mammography Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel Mammography Technologist will support mammography imaging and breast biopsy procedures in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses Epic with Hologic and Trident equipment. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Assist with breast biopsies and localizations
• Support breast imaging using Hologic and Trident equipment
• Document studies and quality checks in Epic
• Follow radiation safety and universal precautions
• Prepare patients for mammography procedures

• ARRT(R) certification
• Mammography-ARRT certification
• Oregon state license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of mammography experience
• Experience with diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, quality assurance, and Hologic 3D equipment

• 3-D mammography experience
• Fine needle aspiration experience
• Needle localization experience
• Epic charting system experience
