Travel Mammography Tech in Atlanta, GA

A Travel Mammography Technologist Registered Technologist will provide breast imaging support in an acute care hospital in Atlanta, Georgia for a 13-week contract. The department is very high volume, serving about 100 patients per day in a women's breast care setting. It uses Hologic equipment and supports breast ultrasound, bone density, mammograms, and biopsy procedures.

• Perform mammography imaging and related breast care studies
• Assist with breast ultrasound, bone density, and biopsy procedures
• Position patients and obtain quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients and explain imaging exams
• Operate Hologic equipment and support exam workflow
• Collaborate with radiologists and maintain accurate documentation

• ARRT certification in Mammography
• BLS certification
• 2 years of mammography experience
• 1 prior travel assignment
• Experience in a very high-volume breast imaging setting
