Travel LPN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will support medical and renal care on a hospital unit during a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit serves medical and renal patients and uses Meditech charting.

• Support patient assessments and report changes in condition
• Assist with IV starts and IV therapy
• Provide wound care and drainage device support
• Help manage central lines within scope and unit practice
• Assist with blood product administration
• Implement care plans and reinforce safety standards
• Document care and patient responses

• Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Medication administration and documentation skills

• 1 year of med/surg nursing experience
• Meditech experience
