Travel LPN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide care in a hospital orthopedic and surgical unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses MEDITECH and cares for bariatric, orthopedic, and general surgery patients with ratios of 1:5 to 1:6.

• Support care for bariatric, orthopedic, and general surgery patients
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the RN team
• Administer medications and treatments within scope
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative recovery needs
• Document care accurately in MEDITECH
• Help mobilize patients and maintain safe unit routines

• Active Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical or orthopedic care

• Bariatric Certification
• Med/Surg Certification
• Orthopedic Certification
• ACLS
