Travel LPN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide care on a medical-surgical and telemetry unit in Richmond, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit also cares for stroke and neuro patients and uses remote telemetry and Meditech. The patient ratio is 5:1.

• Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and routine treatments within scope
• Assist with stroke and neuro patient care needs
• Document assessments, interventions and responses in Meditech
• Support patient education and discharge preparation

• Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program

• NIH Stroke certification
• ACLS
