Travel LPN in El Paso, TX

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide med-surg care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in El Paso, Texas. The 30-bed unit uses Meditech and cares for patients at a 1:6 ratio. Experienced charge support and a collaborative team help support the setting.

• Provide direct med-surg nursing care to adult patients
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and IV-related care within scope
• Assist with wound care, feeding pumps, PCA, oxygen, and lift equipment
• Support central line and Foley management
• Document care in the electronic medical record and coordinate with the team

• Current Texas Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Critical thinking and strong clinical assessment skills

• ACLS certification
• IV therapy skills
• Experience with ortho, kidney transplant, dialysis, pulmonary, GI, or diabetes care
• Central line and Foley management experience
