Travel LPN in Clarksburg, WV

A Travel Behavioral Health Licensed Practical Nurse will support adult patients in a psychiatric hospital in Clarksburg, West Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit has 20 beds, an average daily census of 84, and uses Avatar. Mechanical restraints may be part of care.

• Monitor adults with behavioral health needs
• Administer oral, IM, and SQ medications
• Support blood glucose checks and reporting
• Assist with de-escalation, holds, and seclusion protocols
• Document care in the charting system
• Coordinate with social services and support teams

• West Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1+ year of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
• CPI and First Aid during orientation
• Blood glucose monitoring and medication administration skills
• Any charting system experience
