Travel LPN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide medical-surgical and telemetry care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 18 beds and a 6:1 patient ratio with Cerner PowerChart charting. The hospital is a Magnet-designated trauma and stroke center.

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the RN
• Assist with peripheral IV starts and dressing changes
• Document care and observations in the charting system
• Support medication administration and routine patient care
• Work with the team to maintain safe, efficient care

• North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience

• Charge nurse experience
