Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide care for chronic and telemetry patients in a long-term acute care hospital on an 8-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The role supports patients with complex respiratory needs and ongoing recovery. Ventilator and tracheostomy care are part of the setting.

• Assess chronic and telemetry patients using the nursing process
• Monitor respiratory status and support ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Plan and prioritize care for complex medical needs
• Coordinate treatments and communicate changes in condition
• Delegate tasks to assigned personnel
• Supervise patient care delivery and maintain clinical competency

• Missouri Registered Nurse license or multistate Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Ventilator and tracheostomy experience
