Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support labor, delivery, and postpartum care in an acute care hospital on a 16-week contract in Torrance, California. The unit uses Epic, has 22 beds, serves low- and high-risk obstetric patients, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor labor progress and respond to fetal heart rate changes
• Assist with vaginal births, cesarean deliveries, and recovery care
• Apply internal fetal monitoring devices and support NSTs
• Provide care for high-risk antepartum and multiple gestation patients
• Support newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and early feeding care
• Teach parents newborn care and postpartum recovery basics

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced or C-EFM, and NRP
• 3 years of labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• Previous charge experience
• Obstetrical triage experience
