Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Thornton, CO

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The unit has 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs, with Beacon EMR and Meditech/CPN charting. Ratios are 1:1 to 1:2 for labor and delivery and 3:1 for postpartum.

• Assess labor, delivery, and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes
• Assist with vaginal, assisted, and cesarean deliveries
• Support versions and D&C procedures as needed
• Prepare equipment and supplies for birth and recovery
• Document care in the electronic record

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1 year current hospital labor and delivery Registered Nurse experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Core labor and delivery, fetal monitoring, and maternal-newborn care skills

• Meditech charting experience
• Postpartum experience
