Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Orange, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for high-risk obstetric patients and assist with deliveries in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Orange, California. The unit uses Epic and serves a Magnet hospital with complex pregnancies, including multiples and fetal anomalies.

• Provide care for high-risk labor and antepartum patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Support cervical cerclage, D&C, and version procedures
• Monitor fetal status and recognize abnormal heart rate patterns
• Administer ordered therapies such as magnesium sulfate and insulin drips
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and use external fetal monitoring

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certification or NCC EFM certification
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Prior travel experience
