Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Napa, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Napa, California. The unit serves adults, has 5 beds and 5 rooms, sees about 2 to 3 patients daily, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal delivery, cesarean delivery, and recovery
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and obstetrical triage
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Support newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and breastfeeding
• Respond to hemorrhage, hypertension, and other obstetric emergencies

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting system experience

• AWHONN Advanced
• Amnioinfusion and IUPC placement and calibration
• Scrub for C-section
• Community level experience
