Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Mission Hills, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide postpartum and couplet care in an acute care hospital in Mission Hills, California on a 13-week contract. The 20-bed unit uses Epic and serves high-risk obstetric patients, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, preeclampsia, diabetes, and late preterm newborns. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor postpartum mothers and newborns for recovery and complications
• Administer magnesium sulfate and other ordered therapies
• Support vaginal and cesarean delivery recoveries
• Assist with infant feeding, soothing, and routine newborn care
• Coordinate with respiratory, pharmacy, phlebotomy, social services, and rapid response teams
• Document care and patient responses in Epic

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• LA Fire Card
• 3 years of postpartum or labor and delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric and magnesium sulfate postpartum experience

• High Risk Antepartum experience
