Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Mauston, WI

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide maternal and newborn care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mauston, Wisconsin. The role includes labor support, fetal monitoring, and newborn assessment. It may also support other medical-surgical and ICU patients as needed.

• Assess maternal and newborn patients and develop plans of care
• Triage labor and delivery needs and respond to changing patient conditions
• Administer medications and monitor labor progression
• Manage induction, cervical ripening, and fetal heart monitoring
• Recognize and respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies within scope
• Support newborn assessment, resuscitation, and monitoring for hypoglycemia, hypothermia, jaundice, and sepsis
• Educate patients and coordinate care with the provider team

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• Associate degree in Nursing
• BLS within 1 month of hire, NRP within 6 months of hire, ALSO within 1 year of hire
• STABLE within 1 year of hire, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire
